The successful applicant(s) will need to satisfy police clearance requirements and have a current working with children check (or be willing to apply for one). Transport to and from the venue can be provided but may require you to have your own transport on occasion. Work is usually on weekends and wages are paid on an hourly rate.
The position will require the successful applicant to complete the following Paintball responsibilities of running our activities which include the following:
- Set up and clean-up of each session. This includes the setup of all equipment for the session (guns, masks, paintballs etc) as well as the clean-up of what is used during the session.
- Check-in/Sign-in of groups. This includes greeting the group(s) and working with the group organizer to sign any required forms.
- Help the participants get ready (overalls, masks, etc) before heading down to the fields and during the session (cleaning masks, etc).
You will be expected to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision while being friendly toward meeting customers’ needs.
Previous experience with Paintball fieldwork is not essential but would be advantageous. Firearms training and experience with crowd control will also be beneficial, but again not essential. All training and compulsory equipment required for the position will be provided to the successful applicant.
